June
June was another amazing month in Room 1 (Miharo)
We watched the Bike container being shifted by a huge crane.
We are going to put Art (Nga Toi) all over it and make it a feature of our
school.
We were involved in the Preschool opening. Room 1 helped
make pizzas for the kai and sung waiata after the speeches.
We had the Duffy Theatre visit and got our Duffy books. We
learnt Te Reo Kori with Sport HB and went in an Interschool Te Reo Kori
tournament with lots of other schools.
We went in a Hakinakina Rippa Rugby tournament with other
schools. We won lots of games.
We Skyped Mr Twinn at his Dad’s place in Scotland . We all asked him
questions and showed him pictures. He sent us photos too.
It was 10.30pm at night over there and 9.30am in the morning
in NZ.
