We have got two caterpillars and two cocoons.
They are big.
The caterpillars are yellow and black but the cocoons are green.

Art Blast and Sport

Miharo have had a fun 2 weeks. As well as learning and working with our buddies ( Room 1- Tuakana - teina), we have also been producing amazing art. We visited the Hastings City Art gallery to see Pat Hanly's paintings and photographs and the Hastings City Library to spend some time in the wonderful children's section.Thanks Elizabeth, the librarian, for reading us some lovely stories.
We had an Art exhibition at school and we showed off our creations, which were fabulous. Many parents came down to see our mahi.
We also went to a Hakinakina sports day at Bridge Pa. We had so much fun playing tabloids and having races . It was as much fun as our school fun afternoon where the Karamu students came to organise a sports afternoon for us the week before.
Tuesday we are off to 'Have a Go day'. Martial arts, golf and archery here we come !!!!!
It's great being a 5 year old at Riverslea School in Hastings.
