                                                       March/April 2015

We have also had a busy March and April this year.
We are still improving our skills on the bike track and teaching the New Entrants to ride bikes and go on the Pump Track.
We are all making progress in Reading, Writing and Maths and know what levels we are at and where to next.
We are all working towards our 3 goals and are trying to achieve them.
We studied Turangawaewae and focussed on our environment.
We looked at Recycling. we made recycled paper and visited the Transfer Station.
We even went to Skate-world on the way back to school. That was fun.
We all loved the Hakinakina swimming sports with other schools such as Whare Tapere, Omahu and Mangateretere.

Mr Mac was our Duffy Role Model with his big truck and Digger. We all got 2 Duffy books.
The Police ambulance and Firemen came to visit us as well.
Term 2 we are studying Matariki and we are making Connections with other preschools, schools, and people in the local and wider community.
We are lucky to have Student teacher in our room Mr Twinn. We also have a new Teacher's aide Matua Torp.
